Founded in 2010 and relaunched in 2020, The White Legal Group LLC was founded by Attorney Frederica “Joy” White.
Our firm specializes in labor and employment, corporate law, and outsourced general counsel services for small—and medium-sized businesses.
As an attorney and entrepreneur, Joy recognizes the unique challenges faced by highly motivated and ambitious women and people of color and has created a law firm that understands those challenges and can help them overcome them.

Attorney White has practiced law since 2005 and is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their goals. Joy has a proven track record of success and is a highly decorated employment attorney of almost two decades, keynote speaker, non-profit board member, and former C-Suite Executive as Vice President of Legal Affairs and General Counsel of Morehouse College.
Ms. White is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, and the Gate City Bar Association. Joy is also a proud alumnus of Leadership Atlanta (Class of 2022) and Leadership Buckhead (Class of 2011) and serves as the fundraising chair on the board of the Women’s Resource Center to End Domestic Violence.
As a Black woman and single working mother, Attorney White understands, on a very intimate level, the challenges that women face when juggling work and family obligations.
Joy founded her own law firm to provide other women and people of color with the same level of legal representation and support that she would want for herself and her family.
